abstract landscape painting

In this painting, I have taken up and continued a basic idea from one of my more recent works (painting away pain).
This image is now more transparent, airier, and has more structured elements.

Wow. I know this is an abstract painting, but that’s a brave sailor in that small boat.

Thank you Martha! It’s actually a brave sailor navigating his “stock-ship” through the rough Wall Street πŸ™‚

in worst case I will make a living as artist πŸ˜‚

It’s possible. I’ve cleared $5 profit so far this quarter as an artist! Really, the sky’s the limit. πŸ˜€

Sounds good to me if it’s net income. I actually never believed in the “millionaire in underwear” saga. Solid income by quality art, that’s the futures.

Actually, I made $45 this quarter. I forgot the store in the little museum in the little town in Del Norte. BUT I sent $75 to a juried in show in Texas that I’m not going to participate in — even if my work is chosen — so I think I lost $35.

If i only had lost 35 πŸ˜‰ “life is a loosing game” – whoever sang that must have been an artist πŸ™‚

The compensation is that we get to make art. πŸ˜‰

OH! that is great, I love the transparency in it, it reminds me of late fall weather, when all the leaves have fallen from the trees and they are stuck in a frozen little pond… one can look into it and see many things.

Thank you Francoise four your kind comment! Indeed the work has been influenced by withered leaves. I started to collect real leaves last autumn and first used them for bookmarks (listed in my portfolio) and then started to used leaves and blossoms in art work. Being older generation autumn has become a topic I have to reflect a lot πŸ™‚ BTW: Your paintings are very nice and inspiring….
