painted calligraphy blue ink on rice paper
I have a phase of great creativity and work on several series at the same time. For one week I will present representative works from the last 2-3 weeks.
I would like to start with this painted calligraphy. Ink on rice paper. It was created by writing various poems by Tang Yin (唐寅 1470–1524) on top of each other. The difficulty with these works is to bring order to the chaos that arises from writing on top of each other. At the same time, of course, one must not lose sight of the painterly aspect.
